Housekeeping Officer

The Housekeeping Officer oversees the activities of assigned contracted personnel for day-to-day operational efficiency. He/she ensures that the cleanliness, order, and maintenance of all assigned areas are upheld at all times. He/she also suggests activities and programs to improve the service performance of the unit.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Supervises the housekeeping activities of the contracted personnel who provide janitorial, pest control, horticulture and hand sanitizer services.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order of hospital facilities
  • Attends to complaints, inquiries, and requests concerning room cleanliness
  • Creates, proposes and implements activites  and programs to improve efficiency, productivity and overall performance of the unit.
  • Graduate of any four (4) year course
  • At least two (2) years of housekeeping experience in a hospital or hotel
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules and graveyard/night shift.
